Competitions
If you want to run a competition at school, prefects help you get it off the ground. You bring the idea; we deal with the parts that usually stop it happening.
Pitch a competitionWhat this is
Anyone in the school can propose one. A talent show, a chess tournament, a quiz, something nobody has tried yet. It doesn't need to be planned out; a sentence in the form is enough to start a conversation.
Getting it approved
Prefects take the idea to the right member of staff so you aren't chasing permission on your own.
Telling people about it
A notice on this site, plus getting it into assemblies and registration so people actually turn up.
Running it on the day
Sign-up lists, brackets, timings and someone else on hand so you're not doing all of it alone.
How it works
-
01
Put the idea in the form
What it is and roughly who it's for. Two minutes. You can put in an idea you're not sure about.
-
02
We come back to you
A prefect goes through what it would take, what the school will need to sign off, and whether it can happen this term or next.
-
03
It goes on the noticeboard
Once there's a date, it gets posted on the home page so the rest of the school can enter.
Get involved
Whether you want to run something or just help out with one, it's the same form.
